Osage Type I Ambulances

Type1Type I ambulances are built off of the frame of light duty pickup trucks, such as Ford F-450s and the Dodge 4500 chassis. Type 1 ambulances are available in different power trains including four-wheel drive and two-wheel drive.

Osage Ambulances offer three different kinds of Type I ambulances, including the Brave Ambulance, the Warrior Ambulance, and the Super Warrior Ambulance.

All type I ambulances from Osage feature 100% seamless body construction, and seats for an EMT, as well as a CPR seat. They include a squad bench and pass through windows in between the cab and the back compartment as well as dual IV hangers and locking containers for sharps and drugs.

Type I ambulances are a great option for those looking for a standard emergency response ambulance. Osage Type 1 ambulances are built with great care to meet high quality specifications. They can also be built to meet the specific needs of customers. Your Cromwell Emergency Vehicles Design Consultant can help you customize any ambulance to meet your unique specifications. We realize that all squads are not the same.

Osage Type I Brave Ambulance

The Brave Type I Ambulance from Osage Ambulances is built on the F-350 chassis, which makes it the smallest model in the lineup of Osage Ambulances. It’s 144 inches long and has a body that is 94 inches wide. It’s an entry-level model for those looking for affordable, high quality Type I ambulances.

Although it may be the entry level model in the Osage line of Type I ambulances, the Ford F-350 are sturdy trucks that are part of the Ford Super Duty series. They are reputable vehicles, as the Ford F-Series has been the best-selling truck in the United States over the last 35-plus years. As a result, when customers purchase the Brave Type I ambulance they know that they are getting something that they can count on.

The Brave Type I ambulance offers everything that is needed on an entry-level ambulance, with a simple electrical system by ambulance standards. It utilizes two Ford OEM alternators that are rated at 320 amps.  The Brave Type I ambulance comes with ambulance decals, an 8-inch belt line paint stripe and clear coat paint. The body is made with seamless construction, and all openings are seamless as well. The vehicle makes use of diamond plate shields, which run around the lower portion of the vehicle in three places.

Between the reputation of the Ford F-Series and the quality that Osage is known for, consumers can rest easy when buying the Brave Type I. Around 80 percent of Osage customers bring their business back on a repeat basis, which speaks to the quality craftsmanship of the company.
